Payment Options

NOTE: Customers making payments using a Financial Institution’s Bill Payment Service must verify the correct account number is included with the payment. Payment with incorrect account numbers may be rejected or possibly posted to another member’s account. Using NEMEPA’s online services ensure correct posting and prompt payment.

 

Online Payment Options – Members can now use our Member Services Portal to manage their account online. The features available through the Portal include:

 

  • Make payments by Credit Card or E-Check
  • Manage payment profile
  • Setup bank draft payments
  • Setup e-notification for monthly billing
  • Change your online password
  • Manage Alerts: Customers can receive alerts by email and text messaging for the following:
    • Due Date Reminder
    • Past Due Date Reminder
    • Account Profile Change
    • Returned Check Alert
    • Payment Confirmation
  • Request levelized billing (your account must meet certain requirements)

Bank Draft – NEMEPA can electronically draft a checking or savings account each month for the amount of the current bill. The draft will occur on the due date, avoiding any chance of a late payment.  Bank Drafts also save on the cost of stamps, envelopes, and checks. All the worry is gone. The statement will continue to be mailed or e-mailed monthly, showing the draft amount and date the draft will occur.

Bank Drafts can be set up using the Member Services Portal  or completing the Bank Draft Authorization Form.  Completed forms can be mailed, faxed (662.236.6751) or brought to our office.  If mailing, please mail to North East MS EPA, ATTN: Service Department, 10 Private Road 2050, Oxford, MS  38655.

Credit Cards – NEMEPA currently accepts Master Card and Visa credit cards at the office. Credit Card Payments can also be made through the Member Services Portal, by phone using our automated payment system, or speaking to a Customer Service Representative at our office during working hours.

Personal Checks – Checks can be submitted electronically through the Member Services Portal or by speaking to a Customer Service Representative during normal office hours. Checks can also be put in the night deposit box after hours or mailed to North East MS EPA, P.O. Box 1037, Oxford, MS  38655.  To ensure proper posting, please include the stub from your bill along with the payment.

Cash – Although cash payment can be placed in the night deposit box, we recommend all cash payments be made at the counter during normal office hours.  If you must make a cash payment using the night deposit box after office hours, please include as much account information as possible along with a phone number where you can be reached.
