BRIGHT IDEAS
Bright Ideas grants provide funding for innovative, classroom-based projects that might otherwise not be possible.
The 2022 grant application is open closed. The application will open Monday, July 17, 2023. The application deadline is Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Our Prize Team will visit local schools in early October to announce the winning grant recipients.Those applications that are submitted by August 11, 2023 will be entered in our early bird drawing for gift cards and other prizes.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
At North East Mississippi Electric Power Association and NE SPARC, we believe there is no more important investment than in our community’s youth. That’s why we are offering Bright Ideas education grants to teachers in K-12 classrooms across our electric and fiber service territories.
Bright Ideas grants give teachers the power to put their creative teaching ideas into action.
Awards are presented after a competitive evaluation process by our Bright Ideas Board.
