Inclement Weather Notices
Temperatures are falling and weather conditions are getting worse. In fact, the next few days it appears the conditions will only worsen.
With that in mind, we are asking our Members to take steps to conserve energy by limiting nonessential electricity usage. This includes using appliances, especially clothes dryers and dishwashers. You can also help by turning thermostats to lower settings.
Voluntary cooperation during this time is essential. During severe cold, electric cooperatives, like NEMEPA, face extra demand on our electrical system. So much so, that it could exceed capacity. Thank you so much for your attention and help with this. Please be safe! #staysafe #coopstrong
