Yes, in some instances “danger trees” will be removed by North East Power at its discretion. “Danger trees” are any trees that have become hazardous due to poor health (dying, rotting, broken/damaged), severe lean, or any other condition that would cause the tree to be an imminent threat to NEMEPA lines, equipment, or structures.
