North East Mississippi Electric Power Association continually looks for opportunities to empower the communities we serve.
Each year, North East Power has a calendar full of outreach opportunities, including our Bright Ideas grant program, Oxford-Lafayette Career Fair, SPARC sessions, Trunk or Treat events, Double Decker, Electrical Safety programs, ringing the bell for Salvation Army, and Touch-A-Truck events, to name a few. We also participate with the Cooperative Youth Tour, sending students through a three-part leadership program that ends with a trip to Washington, D.C.
North East Power lives out the seventh Cooperative Principle, Concern for Community, and wants to be more than a local utility company; we want to be a cornerstone in our community.
