ACCOUNT # - Your account number will help us locate your account when calling with questions or making payments. Total Bill Due “due date” - includes the present month’s bill and any REMAINING OUTSTANDING BALANCE. The date shown is the due date for the current month’s bill only. Any REMAINING OUTSTANDING BALANCE is past due and subject to be disconnected.  Forfeited Discount - represents a credit that has been applied to your bill for early payment. If you fail to pay your bill by the due date, this amount is added back to your bill. After “due date” – The sum of Total Bill Due and Forfeited Discount. Your service is subject to be disconnect ten days after the posted due date if this amount is not paid in full. SERVICE PERIOD – Represents the meter reading dates for the TOTAL BILL THIS MONTH. METER READING – Represents the PREVIOUS and PRESENT meter reading used to calculate the TOTAL BILL THIS MONTH. KWH USAGE – Represents the difference between the PREVIOUS and PRESENT meter readings multiplied by the meter multiplier, MULT, yielding the kilowatt hours used for the TOTAL BILL THIS MONTH. PREVIOUS BALANCE- Represents last month’s bill amount. TOTAL AMOUNT DUE – Represents the total amount due, both current and past due, on the account at the time the statement was generated. Accounts setup on BANK DRAFT will show the scheduled draft date next to TOTAL AMOUNT DUE. MESSAGE BOX – NEMEPA uses this section to post important messages to the members each month. BAR GRAPH – The graph includes usage for the current month, the same month the previous year, as well as the eleven months in between. The graph is very useful to customer wanting to track seasonal usage patterns. PERIOD COMPARISONS – The table shows a comparison between the current bill, last month’s bill, and the bill for the same month the previous year. The phone number associated with the account is shown here. Please keep your phone number up-to-date. The phone number allows customers the ability to quickly report an outage, be notified of planned outages, and receive payment reminders Billing address for the account. The billing address is where the bill is mailed and may differ from the service address.
